Liz grew up in Minnesota and started to play volleyball when she was in the 3rd grade.  She graduated from South Saint Paul High School where she made the JV team as a freshman.  During High school, she played both middle and right side.  Liz also played for the People to People program in Holland as a middle hitter her sophomore year of High School.
Liz played on various club teams throughout high school including; WAVE, Hammerhead, and the South Saint Paul.  She continued to play in college in Iowa as a middle hitter until she tore her ACL.  She decided to play on club teams and for fun during college and continues to play now for fun and in sand volleyball leagues.
She graduated from University of Wisconsin Eau- Claire with a degree in social work and has been working as a Mental Health Counselor with South Metro Human Services for 2 years.
Liz coaches 7th & 8th grade at an elementary school in Eagan and then the past 2 years she has coached for Hammerhead Volleyball at the 15’s level.  This will be her second season coaching with Vital Volleyball.
