Alexa Hort

Currently coaching: Vital 16-4 Black

Alexa Hort has been playing volleyball since she was 9 years old. She was on varsity during her time at Eastview and was named captain her senior year.  She played club at Eastview, Nothern Lights and finally at Vital.  Alexa started with Vital in Vitals first year where she played middle on the 14-1’s and that team was the first one to bring a title to Vital winning the NCR Presidents day that year.  She then switched to setter the next year where she played on the 15-1, 15-1, 16-1 and 17-1s team earning a scholarship to play at Waldorf University in Forest City, IA.  Last year Alexa was the head coach for the Vital 14-4’s team and is currently assisting the 15-3s. Alexa is also a member for the “Vital 4 Life” club and is extremely honored to be recognized for all her hard work and dedication to Vital.  In her spare time she is the proud mother of a 5 month old baby girl and works 2 jobs.
