Lauren Ortiz

Lauren started playing volleyball when she was 9 years old and played both club and school volleyball until she graduated from Hopkins High School in 2017. While at Hopkins, Lauren was the starting varsity libero for 2 years and was named to the All-Conference team both years. She attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and continued to play volleyball recreationally. After graduating in 2021, she went to teach English in France for a few years before returning to the states and starting a job with a marketing and events company. She couldn’t be more excited to be entering her first season coaching at Vital and getting to experience the sport she loves from a new perspective!
