Hi, I’m Allie Becker, and this will be my 3rd year coaching at Vital! I grew up playing volleyball at Eden Prairie High School and went on to play 4 years of varsity at Denison University as a Defensive Specialist before graduating in 2015 with a degree in Economics. My favorite part of coaching is seeing the moment a player nails a skill in a game that we’ve been working on in practice—it’s the most rewarding feeling. I specialize in teaching serve receive, defense, setting, and serving. I wouldn’t be a successful coach without my partner in crime, Ashley Traut—she makes coaching even more fun, and I’m truly lucky to have her by my side. When I’m not coaching, you can usually find me cheering for the Minnesota Golden Gophers—I’ve even been to 10 NCAA Volleyball Final Fours, including the 2004 Final Four in Long Beach, CA where Vital’s own Kelly Stuntz (Bowman) and the Gophers competed for the Championship title!
