Calissa Minatee

A Kansas City, Missouri native, Calissa Minatee is a junior Marketing major at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a standout on the Golden Gopher volleyball team. She was named a 2023 UA All American and helped lead USA Volleyball to a Pan America Cup Championship in 2023.

In 2024, Calissa earned both Academic All-Big Ten and CSC Academic All-District honors, showcasing her excellence on the court and in the classroom. That same year, she was recognized on the Diet Coke Classic All-Tournament Team. Before her collegiate career, she developed her skills at Dynasty Volleyball Academy.

Off the court, Calissa is the daughter of Jacinthia Prater-Minatee and Lester Minatee and the proud sister of Chandler and Camryn. Chandler currently plays college basketball at Mississippi State University, while Camryn is following her own athletic path.
