Coral is walking into her 6th club season and her first year at Vital. During her time as a club coach, her team has finished as high as 5th in both national qualifiers and the AAU Volleyball National Championship. Coral is also the head coach at Eastview High School, where she has grown a culture of excellence in the toughest conference in the state of Minnesota. Before leading Eastview, she was the head coach at Hopkins High School as well as assisted at Woodbury High School and Mounds View High School. She has helped grow multiple Division 1, 2, and 3 athletes as well as an All-American.
Coral began playing volleyball in elementary school and went to play at a high level in club including a bid to USAV Nationals. During her high-school career, she was a 3-year varsity athlete and 6 rotation starter, received All-Conference Awards, and held many records. At their best, Coral’s team was ranked 6th in the metro area including Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.  She then went to play at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul where she was a part of their first even NCAA Regional Championship and ended their season in the NCAA Final Four. She received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and Bible, with a minor in Special Education.
Coral’s passion for coaching shines through her high-energy and commitment to relationship building. She is often the loudest one in the gym and loves the sport even more than when she was a player. You will see her cheering on her team and celebrating the small victories as much as the big. She is excited for the upcoming season to help girls reach past their believed potential.
Coral lives in Burnsville with her husband and three year old son, Hudson. You’ll see a lot of Hudson cheering on his favorite girls!
