Sydnie Beaver

Currently coaching: Vital 17-1 Gold

Sydnie is going into year 7 as a club coach, and will be in her first year at Vital. In addition, Sydnie has spent 4 seasons as an assistant at Bethel University, her alma mater, where she has involvement in the recruiting process and works closely with defense. Sydnie is heavily involved in the adult volleyball community around the twin cities, and plays frequently in grass, sand, and indoor tournaments.

Outside of volleyball, Sydnie serves as the Clincial Director for The Bridge Autism Clinic in Highland Park. Sydnie graduated with a BA in Psychology and obtained a MA in Behavior Analysis Practice, ultimately becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Sydnie married her husband, Jake, in August 2024.

Sydnie is a technically focused coach, and loves to teach the finer details of the game. She is also a firm believer that players who do these three things will be successful: 1. Be willing to be uncomfortable 2. Have a growth mindset 3. Have the ability to celebrate their teammates success as much as their own. She is excited for this next chapter!
